THE AREA VENUE
AlliKats is the exclusive booking agency for “The Area Venue”, in
Newport, RI and is actively seeking new talent to fill immediate
openings for this premier original music venue. The Area
showcases state of the art sound and video recording
technology and was host to the Newport International Film
Festival in 2004.
We are currently seeking original music, and performance
artists, including spoken word for immediate openings Thursday
through Sunday evenings, and Sunday matinees. The Area is
located in historic downtown Newport, and has a 200-person
capacity.
Genres accepted:
Rock, Alt. Rock, Acoustic Rock, Pop, Jazz, Blues, Folk, Alt.
Country, Classical, World, Reggae, Spoken Word and
